Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving classes used math, critical thinking, and cooperative groups to build Mars Rovers to haul "ice" from the polar regions to colonies. Today, they tested them on the bumpy, sandy surface of Mars to determine whose Rover could catch and hold the most ice while completing the Mars course the fastest.

LCHS took a stance today against bullying. We are on a mission to prevent bullying by spreading kindness and promoting acceptance and inclusion.

As a part of the Ancient Greece unit, World History I students participated in class Olympics. Activities included straw javelin throw, cotton ball shot put, bottle flip gymnastics, and paper plate discus, and 6th hour earned first place. #rocksolid

Part II: Last week biology students swabbed for bacteria samples. Here are the results from the bacterial resistance lab. One slide shows the sample that grew, and one shows what the sample looked like after it had been swabbed and wiped with an antibacterial wipe. This lab demonstrated how bacteria can be wiped out either antibiotics. #rocksolid

Today we stand up against bullying & promote kindness, acceptance, & inclusion.
