Juniors and their parents are invited to attend College Night at LCHS on Wednesday, March 5th at 7 pm. Student Services will discuss how to be prepared for the college search and application process. They will also discuss financial aid and scholarship searches and answer any questions.

Meredith Budde from the Morton Crime Lab spoke to forensics students about different career paths & more specifically, a latent print analyst. Students were able to develop their own latent prints using a superglue fuming method. #rocksolid




The Community Awareness Class went on a field trip to CEFCU, Willow Knolls Movie Theater, and Chic-Fil-A. The students learned how to open a checking and savings account, purchase tickets, and order food at a fast food restaurant. It was a great day! #rocksolid

LCHS Class of '12 graduate Jessica (Armour) Jones spoke with anatomy students about ICU bedside nursing and allowed students to practice CPR. #rocksolid

Yesterday, a few chemistry and AP chemistry students attended a demonstration put on by Bradley University’s Chemistry Club & Dr. Dean Campbell at the Riverfront Museum. They learned about BU alum Robert E Lawrence who was the first black astronaut, crystal lattice structures, and participated in an acid-base demo.🧪

☑️Grace Pauli 4th place pole vault
☑️Sophia Pauli’s 4th place 400m and 5th place pole vault
☑️Finished the meet with a big personal best in 4x400 (4:38) with Pauli, Pauli, Thornton and Pilgrim.
