As a tradition, Mrs Stout brings in King Cakes this week for Student Council. The students learn about the Louisiana treat AND the planning of huge yet successful events like EasterSeals at LCHS and Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Ava, Olivia, Michaela, and Stella were the lucky ones to find the gold coin in their piece yesterday!
Limestone Township supervisor Derek Roemer & Bartonville Trustee Heidi Rhea came to talk to Art students about the community Bisontennial project. Excited to see what the students come up with! 🦬

Art students demonstrate paint mixing skills. Students color matched and hid 22 painted butterflies around a biology classroom room!

Katelyn Rupert (LCHS '09) spoke to medical terminology/anatomy about being a certified nurse anesthetist. Students were also able to try intubating a mannequin.

The LCHS Speaking Rockets had a great time today at the Monmouth-Roseville Titan Invitational and took home 3rd place overall! With Regionals next week, this was a great way to end the regular season!
