Chemistry students attended a weekend event at the Riverfront Museum, hosted by the Chemistry Club at Bradley University. The students learned about acid-base reactions, indicators, pressure, plastics and recycling, and how liquid nitrogen can affect various materials. They also heard from current Bradley University students about what studying chemistry after high school entails.
Sophomore CC English classes are planning their next speech. What are we going to do if Bartonville is taken over by zombies? They will need to persuade their class to follow their plan for safety.

Mrs. Bentley and Mrs. Sheckler are attending the NAEA (National Art Education Association) conference in Chicago. They are there with thousands of art teachers from across the country and have been listening to world-renowned artist Bisa Butler, while learning new art techniques, speaking with vendors, and getting re-energized to bring back some great new ideas to their classrooms
French I students have begun working on their "cafe" dialogues with a partner.

Meredith Budde, a latent fingerprint analyst at the Morton Crime Lab, spoke with Forensics II students about different forensic career paths, latent fingerprint specifics, and helped students develop their own prints with superglue fuming.
