What's happening today at LCHS
Anatomy students performed an autopsy on a wounded pickle to discover the cause of death and practice body planes/directional terms.
To learn the steps of fertilization, anatomy students designed their own maps illustrating those steps and showing the paths of the egg and sperm.
Forensic I students spent the week learning about fingerprints by rolling their own prints on a 10-card and learning how to dust for their own fingerprints and lip prints.

Health students played “Stress Detectives” by identifying stressors, how they affect our health, and how to manage them.
Culinary Arts students learned the art of seasoning to taste while making homemade chicken strips.
The Army National Guard brought their obstacle course challenge to PE classes.
Pre-algebra students solved proportion word problem task cards while playing Race to 100 for a chance to win a snack.
