French students celebrated today! Aislynn Moran and Alycia Turner won this year's King Cake challenge for French III/IV.
All classes made crepes today: a first for French I students. Aleah Gray and Jack Ledeboer found the babies so they were crowned King and Queen.

Intro to Art students are working on the final project of their Color Theory Unit. They are creating a monochromatic vector painting to explore mixing and blending in paint.

The Pekin Swim Co-op hosts Richwoods High School at 430pm at Pekin Community High School.

The Limestone Chess Team travels to Brimfield High School. First move at 4pm.

Limestone falls to Washington 90-29. Michaela Pilgrim 9pts, Kennedy Gaines 8pts and Sadie Antle 5 pts.

Commercial Art students are finishing painting their wooden chairs. The chairs will be auctioned at the Easterseals Auction next Tuesday and all proceeds will go to the LCHS Easterseals fundraising efforts.

The Freshmen Boys Basketball Team travels to Normal Community West High School for a 6pm tip-off.

The Limestone Girls Basketball Team host Washington in a Mid-Illini Conference game. JV 530pm/Varsity 7pm

Students went to the JUMP Simulation Center today. They visited a wet lab and saw pig lungs/heart, were able to bring a simulated mannequin back to life, and received a tour of the building.



2nd Hour Engineering students built and tested VEX Robotics Clawbots to kickoff the semester.



Junior math students built zipline vehicles to rescue the elf that got stuck on the shelf over the winter break. Lots of teamwork and competitiveness went into this activity, which has students applying math concepts such as gravity formulas, statistics, and slope-intercept equations.


Carpentry students visited the carpenters’ apprenticeship hall and put together concrete forms.
