Junior math students built zipline vehicles to rescue the elf that got stuck on the shelf over the winter break. Lots of teamwork and competitiveness went into this activity, which has students applying math concepts such as gravity formulas, statistics, and slope-intercept equations.
Carpentry students visited the carpenters’ apprenticeship hall and put together concrete forms.
Did you know The Rockets love Penguins? LCHS had 10 students serve as mentors in The Penguin Project’s performances of Aladdin Jr..over the weekend. Congratulations on a great show!

The Limestone Speech Team travels to Washington High School for the Mid-Illini Speech Tournament.
The Limestone Scholastic Bowl team hosts the Peoria Area League.
The Limestone Girls Basketball Team fell to Normal Community 51-32 in the Mid-Illini vs Big 12 shootout. Kennedy Gaines led the team in scoring with 16 pts, followed by Pilgrim with 7, and Ridge with 5.

Congratulations to Will House. Limestone Sophomore Will House made the All-Tournament Team and the Princeton Tiger Cup Scholastic Bowl Tournament with a score 380 pts.
The Limestone Wrestling Team took 3rd place overall at the Urbana Invite with 8 wrestlers placing.
The Limestone Girls Basketball Team beats East Peoria 60-39. Michaela Pilgrim led the way with 32 pts, Izzy Thornton and Kennedy Gaines both scored 10 pts.
