Today is MAP testing make-up day. Students are completing tests which will be used for future class placements.

The Limestone Scholastic Bowl Team will be traveling to Washington Community High School. This is a correction from an earlier post that stated Brimfield.

We invite all Incoming 9th grade students and families to Preview Night tomorrow starting at 6pm! A brief presentation will take place in the auditorium starting at 6pm followed by an Open House. We hope to see you there!

White out night for Easter Seals! The Limestone Boys and Unified Basketball Teams host the Dunlap Eagles in the Vern. JV 5pm/Unified 63pm/Varsity 7pm

The Limestone Scholastic Bowl Team travels to Brimfield High School for the Peoria League Tournament.

What's happening today at LCHS

Good Morning Rockets,

We are aware that some families recently received conflicting or confusing messages regarding potential school closures in the area. I want to clarify and remind how official communication from Limestone Community High School District #310 is shared. In the event of a school cancellation or schedule change, families will always receive official communication through the following channels:

- A phone message from the Superintendent
- A text message beginning with “LCHS310:”
- An email message from the Superintendent
- Information Posted on our website, school app, and social media accounts
- Notifications shared with local news outlets

If you receive a text message that does not begin with “LCHS310:”, it did not originate from our school district. Our best understanding is that many organizations use the same mass notification platform, and messages are sometimes delivered through the same short code number (often “98900”). If you have students attending different/multiple schools, this can cause messages from different organizations to come from the same source and appear on the same text thread, leading to confusion.

We appreciate your understanding and partnership in helping us keep our school community informed.
