What's happening today at Limestone
The Girls Track Team competed at the Normal U-High Indoor Invite at IWU today. Sophia Pauli medaled in 4th in Pole vault with a 3.25M vault. The Girls represented well and compete again next Wednesday at IWU.

English II students present persuasive speeches.
Carpentry students cut and lay out rafters.
Principles of Engineering students design, build, and code machines. Task options included a home alarm system, an automatic garage door, and an automatic paper towel dispenser.
Biology students did a combination lab where they burned isopropyl alcohol and used a ph indicator to test for the presence of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide.
Math students combined art and linear equations to create words and images on Amplify.

Limestone defeated Farmington 14-4 in their season opener. Next game at Bloomington High School.
Chemistry students attended a weekend event at the Riverfront Museum, hosted by the Chemistry Club at Bradley University. The students learned about acid-base reactions, indicators, pressure, plastics and recycling, and how liquid nitrogen can affect various materials. They also heard from current Bradley University students about what studying chemistry after high school entails.
Sophomore CC English classes are planning their next speech. What are we going to do if Bartonville is taken over by zombies? They will need to persuade their class to follow their plan for safety.
