It was a great time at the Rocketman Pageant! Congratulations to Senior Ben Subbert, Rocketman 2026. Junior Grant Kocher was chosen as People's Choice. Contestants Nolan Ryan and Sean Randle (as Shanequa) were dressed to impress.

Sophomore biology students learned about Darwin’s evolution by natural selection in a Battle of the Beaks lab! Students participated in a friendly competition to fight for food with different beaks.

Junior Cooper Clark reached the Exceeding Benchmark in Strength and Speed class for the Bench Press by lifting 275 lbs, which is 1.7 times his body weight - a new personal record for him!

DLR students learn how to use Google Drawings by creating Minions.

AP Chemistry students are using their knowledge of Beer-Lambert Law to determine the chemical kinetics of a reaction based on absorbance and time data. Students obtain this data using a colorimeter app on their smartphones. Students will eventually graph this data to determine the order of the reaction with respect to “brilliant blue” dye No. 1.

Junior and senior math students applied slope-intercept equations and percentages to create stained glass windows inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture.
