Members of the LCHS student council executive committee attended the Mid Illini student council meeting. They had the opportunity to hear Marcellus Somerville speak about overcoming adversity, leadership, and giving back to the community.
Botany students propagated houseplants during class.
Members of the junior and senior classes traveled to the University of Illinois Chicago to attend the DIGIM College and Career Fair. It was a valuable experience for the students who attended. Students listened to presentations, toured the campus, and met with representatives from a variety of colleges and organizations.
Limestone students had the opportunity to attend various sessions at Western IL last week. Sessions were centered around law enforcement & criminal justice topics and were taught by WIU professors, some of who were retired FBI agents. Some of the session topics included fingerprinting techniques, fire & EMT, & polygraph testing.

Rockets XC had a great day at Regionals! Blake Schade and Evan Hermacinski both qualified as individuals for boys sectionals, and Michaela Pilgrim and Kaia Hale qualified for the girls sectional. Way to go Rockets!
